This exhibit begins with another posterolateral view of the foot. This image illustrates the the initial primary closure of the soft tissue defect has broken down with peeling eschar revealing devitalized tissue beneath. Next, one image represents the extensive debridement showing a substantial amount of tissue cut away from the heel and ankle. Finally, two additional images illustrate the key steps of the surgical procedure including the harvest of the skin graft from the lateral leg and the placement of the skin graft over the previously debrided portions of the foot.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"For us, the defining feature of effective demonstrative evidence is whether, by itself, the piece will tell the story of the case. Medical legal Art provides our firm with illustrations and animations that are clear and persuasive. Their exhibits tell the story in a way that allows the jury to understand a very complex subject, very quickly."

James D. Horwitz
Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, P.C.

"I just wanted to let you know that after several days on trial, I settled [my client's] construction accident case for $4.5 million. Immediately after the jury was discharged, I spoke with several jurors who told me that they really appreciated the medical illustrations for their clarity in dealing with [my client's] devastating injuries. They also expressed their gratitude in being able to read from a distance all of the notations without difficulty. Obviously, the boards were visually persuasive. I am certain that this contributed to our successful result."

Michael Gunzburg, Esq.

"Thanks, and your illustrations were effective in a $3 million dollar verdict last Friday."

Joseph M. Prodor

"Thank you for the wonderful illustrations. The case resulted in a defense verdict last Friday. I know [our medical expert witness] presented some challenges for you and I appreciate how you were able to work with him."
