Posterior Female Figures with Post-accident Injuries and Multiple Attempts at Pain Management - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit depicts post-accident injuries with multiple attempts at pain management. The first image shows a posterior view of a woman with the muscles visible beneath the skin. There are red flares highlighting areas of pain in the lower back and left hip. There is also an inset featuring an anterior view of the left hip which shows contusions and an inflamed trochanteric bursa. The next images describe multiple steroid injections. There is a posterior view of a woman with blue circles showing the locations of each of these injections, and an inset cross-sectional view showing a needle injecting steroid into muscle. The final images describe the placement of a trial spinal cord stimulator. The first is a lateral view with a cross section of the spine showing leads inserted through a hollow needle into the intralaminar space. The final image is another posterior view showing the stimulator and leads in place.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"I wanted to thank you for the terrific job you did illustrating my client's injuries. The case was settled at the pre-suit mediation, and I believe a good part of the success we had was due to the medical legal art you prepared.

Your work received the ultimate compliment at the conclusion of the mediation. The hospital risk manager took the exhibit with them at the conclusion of mediation, and will be using it to train nurses on how to prevent bed sores..."

"Medical Legal Art has always performed quality and efficient work. The doctors that review the exhibits are always amazed at the precise descriptions and drawings."

"For modern audiences, it is absolutely essential to use medical demonstrative evidence to convey the severity and extent of physical injuries to a jury. Your company's high quality illustrations of our client's discectomy surgery, combined with strong expert testimony, allowed the jury to fully appreciate the significance of our client's injuries.

We are very pleased with a verdict exceeding $297,000.00, far in excess of the $20,000.00 initially offered by the defendant. The medical demonstrative evidence provided by Medical Legal Art was an asset we could not have afforded to have been without."

"Your firm is great to work with and, most importantly for me, you get the job done on time and with the utmost professionalism. You should be proud of all those you employ, from KJ to Ben B. I've been especially pleased over the years with the work of Brian and Alice, both of whom seem to tolerate my idiosycratic compulsion to edit, but I've not found a bad apple in the bunch (and, as you know, I've used your firm a bunch!). I look forward to our continued professional relationship."
