This stock medical illustration shows a 3D rendering of a baby descending in the mother's pelvis toward the pelvic outlet during labor and delivery in a normal vaginal birth. The illustration shows the fetus, umbilical cord, placenta and postion of the mother's during delivery. An animation of the same process is also available.
