This surgical exhibit details elements form an aortic (semilunar) valve replacement. The following specifics are shown: 1. Anterior chest incision, 2. Heart bypass, 3. Exposure and resection of the diseased aortic valve, 4. Replacement of the valve with a St. Jude prosthetic valve.
